The keynote presentation will be delivered by Prof. Denice Sheehan, Professor of Nursing at Kent State University. Her research is focused on adolescents who have a parent with a life-limiting illness in the United States.
Professionals involved in providing care and support to families when a parent of dependent children is at end of life with cancer are encouraged to attend.
This workshop will focus on how and when to provide support to parents, the lived experience from a bereaved parent, and the services and organisations that provide care and support to families.
