As we celebrate 70 years of the NHS our ability to translate research and innovation into excellent individual healthcare is more important than ever.

Through a series of plenary and parallel sessions, panel discussions, speed presentations, posters and exhibitor opportunities the NHS Research Scotland Conference celebrates the strength of Scotland’s research environment.

Professor Jason Leitch, National Clinical Director of Healthcare Quality and Strategy at Scottish Government will take to the stage with Allison Worth, Patient and Public Involvement Advisor at Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility and patients for a powerful opening plenary celebrating 70 years of medical advances that have helped transform health and patient care. 

Their popular panel discussion returns with a fantastic range of representatives considering how we shape the NHS of tomorrow through research; and a range of insightful parallel sessions will explore the cutting-edge research driving improvement and innovation within our health service today including:
