25 June 2018 - Palliative Care Research Forum NI Public Lecture and AGM

The Palliative Care Research Forum Northern Ireland invites you to a public lecture (see attached abstract) with Professor Allan Kellehear, 50th Anniversary Professor (End of Life Care) and Academic Director for the Digital Health Enterprise Zone (DHEZ - Academic), University of Bradford, on Monday 25th June 2018, 1.00-4.00 PM, in the Loughview Suite, Ulster University (Jordanstown campus). The public lecture will be preceded by the re-launch of Palliative Care Research Forum NI website and the AGM (11.00-12.00 PM), which as a member of the forum you are very welcome to attend.  More details on the AGM will be circulated shortly to current forum members, or alternatively contact Dr Lisa Graham-Wisener for more information. After the AGM,  we will receive an update on the work of the All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care.

To highlight the current research in Northern Ireland, we are accepting posters of any size, depicting recent research (last three years), which have been presented elsewhere. This is open to all researchers in the area of palliative and end of life care (PEOLC), with a focus on PEOLC in Northern Ireland. Posters will be presented during lunch (12.00-1.00 PM). If you would like to present your research, please send an abstract to Dr Deborah Muldrew ( no later than Friday 15th June at 5pm
